Al-Qassam targets “Israeli” tank, displays scenes of special operations in Gaza

GAZA, Aug. 17 (YPA) – The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced that it targeted an Israeli Merkava tank yesterday, with an Al-Yassin 105 anti-tank missile in the vicinity of the Zeitoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

In a statement, the Brigades added that the targeting comes within the framework of a series of “Stones of David” operations carried out by its combat units against the occupation forces invading the Gaza Strip.

The Brigades also broadcast video footage documenting some of its operations, showing the targeting of Israeli military vehicles and the shelling of positions and gatherings of soldiers on the combat fronts in Khan Yunis and the Salah al-Din axis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam confirmed that its operations are continuing along the incursion fronts, in a message of its ability to wear down the occupation forces and surprise them with qualitative combat tactics despite the intensity of the ongoing aggression.
