Rocket fresh attack by Yemen armed forces targets US ship

SANAA, March 06 (YPA) – Yemen’s naval forces of the armed forces launched on Wednesday a fresh military attack against an U.S. ship ‘TRUE CONFIDENCE’ in the Gulf of Aden, south of Yemen.

Military spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie said in a news statement that the ship was accurately targeted with a number of suitable naval missiles, which led to a fire breaking out on it.

The spokesman affirmed that the operation came after the ship’s crew rejected warning messages from the Yemeni naval forces.

He called on all ships to respond to the Yemeni naval forces’ communication, and all crews of the targeted ships must quickly leave after the first attack.

“The Yemeni armed forces are continuing to carry out their religious, moral and humanitarian duties in supporting the oppressed Palestinian people, and their operations in the Red and Arabain Seas will not stop until the aggression is ended and the siege on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is lifted,” the spokesman added.

Sarie explained that the military operation came also in a triumph to the oppressed Palestinian people and in retaliation to the American-British aggression against Yemen.
