GAZA, Feb. 15 (YPA) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine refugees (UNRWA) confirmed on Thursday that Gaza is mired in darkness and communications have been cut off, leaving its residents unable to communicate with each other and with the outside world.
UNRWA posted on its account via the “X” platform, photos from the streets of Gaza plunged into darkness, pointing out that Gaza has been plunged into darkness on multiple occasions during the war.
“The interruption of communications for several consecutive days in Gaza has left most of the more than 2 million residents unable to communicate with each other and with the outside world, amid the expansion of the Israeli military operation and continuous shelling”, UNRWA added.
