Leadership of Emirati factions in Hadramout submit to Saudi threats

HADRAMOUT, Feb. 14 (YPA) – Leadership of UAE-backed factions has agreed to the deployment of the Saudi-funded “Dera Al-Watan” factions in the coastal directorates of Hadramout province, following Saudi threats to bombard its camps in various areas of the province, Well-informed sources reported

According to the sources, the Emirati forces’ leadership stationed at Al-Rayyan Airport in the city of Mukalla, the provincial center, sent the head of the “Southern Transitional Council” in Hadramout, Said Ahmed Al-Mahmoudi, to meet with the commander of the “Support and Assistance” in the Saudi-led coalition, Sultan Al-Baqmi, in the Sharurah area during the past hours to approve the deployment of “National Shield” factions affiliated with Saudi Arabia in the coastal directorates of Hadramout.

It was confirmed that an agreement and coordination were reached on a deployment plan for the “Second Division of the National Shield” factions in the coastal directorates following Saudi threats to target sites and camps of the “Hadhrami Elite” under the charge of rebellion against the decision of Hadramout Governor Muqbel bin Madi loyal to Riyadh.

It was noted that military locations where the Saudi-funded “National Shield” will be deployed have been identified after the Emirati forces’ leadership managed to reach the Hasisa area west of Mukalla last month.
