Military expert: Netanyahu’s ability to withstand is fading

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Jan. 25 (YPA) – The Palestinian military expert, retired Major General Wassef Erekat, said on Thursday that the data and indicators of the battles taking place on the ground confirm that the Israeli occupation is still unable to find achievable goals in the Gaza Strip other than those announced at the start of the war.

Erekat added to “Jordan 24” channel that the occupation forces are still practicing revenge and killing with the aim of ethnic cleansing and destroying the Strip’s infrastructure in order to push citizens to emigrate from their land and homeland, especially in light of its inability to achieve an image of victory or a goal that can be considered an achievement for the army.

He pointed out that the Israeli army faces difficult and limited choices, the worst of which are bitter. “Withdrawal is a defeat, and remaining inside Gaza is a disaster.”

Erekat stated that the Palestinian people have no options but to fight and die for the sake of life and the preservation of their homeland, despite the modest capabilities available to them, while the occupation army considers its presence in Gaza to be a salvation for the entire entity.

The occupation leadership is waiting for a miracle to get it out of the predicament it has put itself in, and Netanyahu is climbing the tree, where he is still issuing threats and repeating that the war will continue and that it will take six months, which confirms that the leadership is in trouble and looking for ways out, Erekat added.

Erekat concluded his speech by saying that “the scene is blurry and changing, but Netanyahu’s ability to withstand is fading.”
