Iraqi Resistance targets Ashdod port

BADHDAD, Jan. 25 (YPA) – Iraq-based Islamic Resistance targeted the Israeli port of Ashdod, south of occupied Palestine.

Secretary General of the Sayyid al-Shuhada Brigades, Abu Alaa Al-Wala’i, announced on Wednesday the start of the second phase of the resistance operations in Iraq, which will include enforcing the blockade on Israeli maritime navigation in the Mediterranean and putting the entity’s ports out of service.

The Iraqi resistance stressed that it would continue to destroy enemy strongholds in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has been participating in the “Al-Aqsa Strom Operation” since last October 17, in response to Washington’s support for the Israeli aggression on Gaza.

American forces in Iraq and Syria since have been subjected to about 151 attacks, which led to the injury of about 70 of their soldiers, according to what Reuters reported from the Pentagon.
