Woman gets tortured after being kidnapped in Marib

MARIB, Dec. 12 (YPA) – A woman was found on Monday tortured in the coalition-held city of Marib after being kidnapped by militants in the city for three days.

Sources familiar with the matter said citizens found 49 year-old Fayrouz Saleh Muzaffar beaten and tortured by cutting off one of her ears and pulling out her fingernails, following security forces affiliated with the Islah Party in the city stormed her home and took her to an unknown destination.

The sources confirmed that the citizen, Fayrouz, who is the wife of Abdullah Ali Qirat Al-Hawani, was found in poor health and was thrown near a camp for the displaced in the Al Shabwan area of Al-Wadi district.

The sources confirmed that the kidnapped was beaten and tortured in various parts of her body by coalition members, who took her on board a military vehicle by force of arms on December 7, from among her children and husband, without any charge.
