Army launches offensive against coalition-backed militias in Jawf, Sanaa

JAW, SANAA, July 9 (YPA) – The Yemen army on Monday launched an offensive against the coalition-backed militias’ sites in Jawf and Sanaa provinces, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

In Jawf, the army forces launched an attack on the militias’ sites in the Northwest of Sallan military camp in Maslob district, leaving numbers of militias among dead and injured.

In Sanaa, dozens of Saudi-backed militias were killed and injured when the army launched an offensive targeting their sites in al-Madfon area in the district of Nihem.

The Yemeni army and popular committees stepped up their attacks against Saudi-led coalition forces and their militias in all fronts over the past 24 hours,  in retaliation for committing war crimes and massacres against Yemeni civilians.
