GAZA, Nov. 16 (YPA) – Seven staff members of the Jordanian field hospital in the Gaza Strip were injured in an Israeli enemy air strike targeted the entrance to the emergency department of the hospital.
The official spokesman of the Jordanian Armed Forces said that seven cadres of the Jordanian field hospital in Gaza were injured at the entrance to the emergency department of the hospital, while trying to rescue Palestinian citizens who were injured during the shelling of the Israeli enemy.
“The crew members’ injuries are between minor and stable, and their colleagues are providing the necessary care to them and to a number of Palestinian brothers”, he added.
He pointedout that the armed forces have started an official investigation to find out the details of what happened and confirmed Israel’s responsibility to provide the necessary protection to the hospital and its staff.
The Jordanian Foreign Ministry condemned the Israeli shelling at the vicinity of the Jordanian field hospital in Gaza.
