WORLD, Oct. 28 (YPA) – A US official revealed that the United States and China have reached a preliminary agreement to hold a meeting between Biden and Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit.
According to the Associated Press, an official who spoke on condition of anonymity said that the two sides reached an agreement in principle to hold a meeting during the summit, where Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met on Friday with Secretary of State Antony Blinken and White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan.”
The US official added that the two sides had not yet reached details on the exact day and place of the meeting and other logistical matters.
