American ambassador arrives in Hadramout after military deployment

HADRAMOUT, Aug. 30 (YPA) – The American ambassador to the coalition-backed government, Steven H. Fagin, arrived on Wednesday in the city of Seiyun, the center of Hadramout province, following the military deployment of Marines forces near the city.

Sources filmier with the matter indicated that the ambassador arrived in Seiyun a day after an American official, accompanied by Saudi officers, visited my school for male and female students in the Ghorfa area outside the city, without knowing the reasons for the visit.

The sources said Fagin would hold a meeting with the leaders of the local authorities affiliated with the coalition and community notables in Wadi Hadramout.

According to the Pentagon’s confessions last February, the American forces have a military base in the province.

The American and British forces control the eastern oil-rich provinces of Yemen as the conflict grows between their Saudi and UAE proxies.
