Sanaa launches humanitarian initiative to transfer Ethiopians’ bodies killed by Saudi army at border
SANAA, Aug. 28 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, Muhammad Ali al-Houthi, called on the Republic of Ethiopia to send a plane to take the bodies of the Ethiopians who died at the hands of the Saudi army at the Yemeni-Saudi border.
Al-Houthi made it clear in a post on the “X” platform on Sunday evening that the bodies of the Ethiopian victims had been kept in morgues, according to the orders of the judicial control authorities.
He announced the readiness of the security and prosecution in Sanaa to hand over the bodies, which he described as “many”.
Sanaa’s announcement of keeping the bodies of the Ethiopian immigrants killed in the targeting of the border villages by the Saudi border guard forces is conclusive evidence and additional confirmation of what was stated in the Human Rights Watch report that Riyadh deliberately brutally liquidated hundreds of immigrants.
Last Monday, Human Rights Watch issued a report revealing large Saudi massacres at the Yemeni borders, during which hundreds of African migrants were killed between March 2022 and June 2023.
