SANAA, Aug. 20 (YPA) – The UN Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen, David Gresley, called for the perpetrators of the murder of Jordanian WFP employee Moayed Hamidi last month in Taiz province to be brought to justice urgently.
“These incidents are a strong testimony to the challenges and risks faced by humanitarian actors in Yemen,” he said.
The UN coordinator stressed the need not to endanger the safety and security of aid workers, noting that it is important not to hinder the movement of aid workers, especially women workers.
