Sanaa announces talks’ results with Omani delegation

SANAA, Aug. 20 (YPA) – The Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, briefed in its meeting on Sunday presided by Mahdi al-Mashat, on the results of the negotiations with the Omani delegation that left Sanaa after a four-day visit.

This came during the meeting that included deputy the council, Sadiq Amin Abu Ras, Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, the head of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, Mohammed Abdul-Salam, deputy head of the delegation, Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, and deputy Foreign Minister Hussein Al-Ezzi.

Al-Mashat, instructed the national delegation with the directives and instructions required to achieve the demands of the Yemeni people to ensure the success of the negotiation process and the achievement of a just and comprehensive peace.

In the meeting, head of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, Mohammed Abdul-Salam gave a detailed briefing to those present about the negotiations during the last stage and the latest developments.

The meeting was agreed to put the basic steps for any upcoming negotiations in a way that guarantees all the rights of the Yemeni people, and its demands, represented in the payment of the salaries of all state employees, the opening of Sana’a International Airport, the removal of all restrictions imposed on the ports of Hodeida, the lifting of the siege and an end to the war.
