SANAA, Aug. 02 (YPA) – The first conference on tumors affecting reproduction and their prevention began in Sanaa on Wednesday, organized by the Population Sector of the Ministry of Health in cooperation with the National Center for Oncology.
With the participation of 700 doctors, specialists, and consultants in reproductive medicine, gynecology, obstetrics, urology, and oncology, the conference will discuss in two days 19 working papers on issues related to tumors affecting reproduction and how to prevent them.
At the opening, the Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Mutahar Al-Marwani, referred to the importance of the conference, which embodies the state’s keenness on the citizen’s right to obtain health services that meet society’s needs.
For her part, the head of the conference, Dr. Arwa Al-Asbahi, underlined the significance of the conference in raising doctors’ awareness of the seriousness of tumors affecting reproductive health, identifying ways to deal with these tumors to eliminate them, and spreading health awareness about tumors and their impact on the current situation.
