President Al-Mashat urges local authorities to execute citizens’ transactions, support community projects

SANAA, Aug. 02 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, on Wednesday urged the local authorities to complete citizens’ transactions and support and encourage community initiatives.

This came during his meeting with Minister of Local Administration Ali bin Ali Al-Qaisi, who briefed him on the progress of work in the ministry and its oversight, supervisory and directive role over the local authority bodies in the provinces and districts.

In view of the unusual conditions that the country is experiencing as a result of US-backed Saudi-led coalition war, the President emphasized the need of boosting service and development performance in a way that contributes to reducing citizens’ suffering.

President Al-Mashat urged the ministry and local authority bodies to support the educational process as a priority for the state.
