Four elements of pro-UAE “Shabwa Defense Forces” killed in Shabwa

SHABWA, June 14 (YPA) – Four members of the “Shabwa Defense Forces,” loyal to the UAE, were killed and several others wounded in an attack with a “RPG” rocket on a military post in Shabwa province, eastern Yemen.

Informed sources said that the attack took place in the Al-Musina’a area of Al-Saeed district on Tuesday evening and was followed by clashes with various types of weapons.

This comes after the Shabwa Defense Forces announced a curfew in the area at night.

The sources added that the attacking elements withdrew to the mountains surrounding the area, while the Shabwa Defense forces carried out today, Wednesday, a combing operation in the vicinity of the area in search of the terrorist elements.
