SNTV: large number of civilians rescued from the hotel in Mogadishu

WORLD, June 10 (YPA) -The siege of the hotel, which was imposed on Friday evening by Islamist militants of al-Shabaab in the Somali capital Mogadishu, is over, Somalia state television network SNTV reported on Saturday.

According to SNTV, security forces have successfully neutralized the Al-Shabaab militants responsible for the terrorist attack on the Pearl Beach Hotel in Lido Beach, Mogadishu.

During the operation, a large number of civilians were rescued from the hotel. The security forces were able to end the incident and restore order to the area.
