SANAA, April 27 (YPA) – Minister of Defense, Maj. Gen. Mohammed Nasser Al-Atefi, warned on Thursday the Saudi-led coalition against circumventing peace in Yemen.
He called on the Saudi-led coalition countries to prove their good intentions by starting the practical implementation of the conditions set by the supreme revolutionary, political and military leadership to reach a just and comprehensive peace.
This came during his visit to inspect fighters being stationed on the island of Kamaran of Hodeida province.
“Our armed forces are ready to thwart any attempt by the coalition to escalate or plunder wealth and circumvent what was proposed within the framework of the political solution,” he continued to say.
Al-Atefi explained that the fleeting Zionist enemy is pressuring and instructing the coalition to implement its plans and agenda in Yemen as part of its quest for expansion, control and occupation.
The minister stressed that the leader of the revolution and the Supreme Political Council give great attention to the armed forces in general, including the naval forces, in various aspects, in terms of training, qualification and armament.
He noted that the enemies thought to pass their plots that were failed by the revolutionary leadership and the steadfastness of the Yemeni.
