Scattered rainfall expected to continue in different provinces

SANAA, March 18 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology is expected the continuation of scattered rainfall in several provinces during the next 24 hours.

The center indicated, in its weather bulletin on Saturday, that sporadic rains of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms, may fall over parts of Saada, Hajjah, Mahweet, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Raymah, Dhalea, Bayda, Ibb, Taiz, Lahj and Abyan.

It pointed out that the weather in the coastal areas and the Socotra Archipelago would be clear to partly cloudy, with the possibility of light and sporadic rain, and the light to moderate winds reaching its maximum speed. to 20 knots in the west of the Gulf of Aden, and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.

The center warned citizens in areas where rain expected from being in the streams of torrents and valleys,calling motorists to drive carefully on mountain slopes against a decrease in the horizontal visibility due to rain and fog formation.
