Mahra sit-in committee condemns repeated visits of foreign military delegations

MAHRA, March 14 (YPA) – Head of the Sheikhs Department in the sit-in committee of Mahra province, Sheikh Salem Ali Yasser, denounced the recent security imbalances in the province, considering what is happening as a phenomena alien to society.

Yasser stressed that the people of Mahra reject the imbalances and abductions that target Mahra’s security.

Meanwhile, the head of the security department of the sit-in committee, Muslim Raafit, warned against the danger of continuing to target the security of the province.

He pointed out that there are parties seeking to drag the province into unfortunate consequences and slip into internal conflicts.

Raafit added that the American moves and the honor carried out by personalities and leaders do not represent the people of Mahra, and only represent themselves.

He accused these figures of working to legitimize the occupation and turn al-Ghaydah airport into a military base.
