Pro-UAE STC calls for meeting to discuss poor living conditions in Aden

ADEN, Feb. 25 (YPA) – The UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias called for an emergency meeting of its various leaders in the city of Aden.

National Assembly of the STC confirmed in a statement that the meeting came to discuss the significant deterioration in the worsening living conditions of citizens.

The Assembly’s rapporteur, Nasr Harhara, called for an extraordinary meeting to stand up to developments at all levels, including the threats facing the southern issue, in reference to the statements of the head of the Riyadh-formed Presidential Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, to postpone a solution to the issue.

He considered the outcome of the meeting to be an earthquake for what he called “tyrants,” noting that the government has become paralyzed to implement its obligations to the people of the southern provinces, such as paying salaries to the STC militia during the past months.
