SANAA, Oct. 04 (YPA) – Sanaa forces announced on Sunday that they executed two qualitative military operations targeting Saudi Aramco oil facilities in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, and the Khurais region using ballistic missiles and drones.
In an official statement released Sunday, the forces stated that the dual operations were carried out using a combination of ballistic missiles and drones. According to the statement, the strikes successfully hit their intended targets, causing significant fires at the targeted sites.
The statement noted that the operations were conducted in response to ongoing military operations by the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen. The statement noted that the coalition forces launched 50 airstrikes and missile strikes across Sanaa, Jawf, Taiz, Amran, Hajjah, and Saada within the past 12 hours, bringing the total number of strikes since the recent escalation began to 1,460.
Sanaa forces reiterated their commitment to continue targeting Saudi military bases and oil facilities with domestically manufactured missiles and drones, asserting that these weapons have demonstrated the capability to breach Western-supplied defense and interception systems.
The statement concluded by emphasizing that Sanaa forces will persist in conducting further military operations against Saudi targets and troop concentrations to establish a balance of engagement—framing the stance as “blockade for blockade, and escalation for escalation”—until military operations end and the blockade on Yemen is lifted.
