Shabwa plunges in darkness for second month in row

SHABWA, Feb. 15 (YPA) – Most of the districts of oil Shabwa province, which are under the control of the authorities loyal to UAE, are plunging into total darkness for the second month in a row.

Local sources said that “electricity service was cut off from most districts, due to the outage of generating stations out of Service and the fuel running out of the stations”.

The sources attributed the running out of fuel to the procrastination of the Saudi side by supplying power stations with the so-called “fuel grant” to generate electricity.

The power outage in Shabwa caused a state of discontent by citizens demanding to provide electricity, with the continuation of Islah authorities in Marib to give Shabwa power small amounts of fuel.
