Several STC militia members injured by artillery shelling in Abyan 

ABYAN, Feb. 06 (YPA) – A number of militia members of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) were injured by artillery shelling that targeted them in Abyan province, southern Yemen.

According to media sources affiliated with the Saudi-led coalition, unidentified gunmen, believed to be tribe members, targeted a gathering of STC militia members with a number of mortar shells in the Omran valley of Modiya district, injuring a number of them.

The sources indicated that ambulances rushed to the scene to transport the wounded, without specifying their number.
