Militants killed in Mocha armed clashes

TAIZ, Jan. 17 (YPA) – Three militants were killed on Monday in an armed clashes, following a robbery of a piece of land in the city of Al-Mokha in Taiz province, southern Yemen.

Local sources said that armed groups affiliated with the UAE-backed Tariq Afash militia stormed a plot of land in the “Aqila” area, in the center of the city, in an attempt to rob it, but it was confronted by the landowners.

The incident came just two days after the largest looting operation by Tariq Saleh’s militia was revealed, which affected large lands of citizens in the coastal city of Mocha.
