Man killed in Hadramout explosion

HADRAMOUT, Jan. 08 (YPA) – A person was killed on Sunday while trying to plant an explosive device in the center of Seiyun of Hadramout province, eastern Yemen.

According to local sources in the city, the explosive device exploded in Jathma neighborhood, while it was being prepared by the man belonging to sons of Lahj.

The sources indicated that the person was trying to plant the device near the “Air Police” camp of the Islah Party-run First Military Region” command, which the UAE-affiliated Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia calling for to be got out from the Wadi districts.

This comes in a time when the districts of Wadi in Hadramout are witnessing an unprecedented escalation by the leaders of the “STC” after the “reference of the Hadramout tribes” announced the recruitment of 10,000 fighters to defend the districts of the Wadi.
