Young man kills his mother, uncle in Lahj

LAHJ, Dec. 27 (YPA) – A young man, at dawn Sunday, in the city of Al-Houta in Lahj province, southern Yemen, killed his mother and uncle.

According to local media, the young man, “Muhammad,” killed his mother and uncle, his stepfather, who had raised him since childhood, by shooting them with bullets while they were sleeping in their house in “Al-Haw” neighborhood.

The sources added the young man, who was a drug addict, fled after committing the crime, noting that the two victims died immediately; as a result of critical injuries and severe bleeding.
