Fierce battles rage in Dhalea

DHALEA, Oct. 13 (YPA) – Violent battles raged on Thursday between the Sanaa forces and the Saudi-led coalition on the fronts northwest of Dhalea province, south of Yemen.

Sources familiar with the matter said that Islah-affiliated “82nd Artillery Brigade” recruits stationed in Al-Qarah area launched a large-scale military attack towards the positions of the Sanaa forces, east of the city of Moris.

Hours before the attack, the Islah militants fired artillery at various positions of the Sanaa forces and the homes of citizens, the sources added.

A great number for the 82nd Brigade’s recruits escaped, after they incurred heavy losses in lives and equipment as a result of counter-attack.
