Meteorology warns motorists of low visibility on mountainous roads

SANAA, Oct. 13 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology has warned motorists of low visibility on mountainous roads due to low cloud density or fog.

In its weather bulletin on Thursday, the center affirmed that the atmosphere would be clear to partly cloudy, with scattered rain accompanied by thunderstorms, over parts of the provinces of Taiz, Ibb, Hajjah, Mahweet and Raymah, Abyan, Lahj, Dhamar, Sanaa, Amran, Bayda and Saada.

Coastal areas: A clear to partly cloudy atmosphere, accompanied scattered rain on parts of the western and southern coasts, with active winds on Bab al-Mandab.

Desert areas: A clear weather with the possibility of scattered low clouds would be expected, with active winds.

According to the center, partly cloudy to cloudy weather might be on Socotra Archipelago, with the possibility of light to medium rain, and wind speeds reaching 18 knots.
