Qatari, Iranian foreign ministers meet in New York

WORLD. Sept. 20 (YPA) – Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani expressed his pleasure to meet his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amirabdollahian in New York on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meeting.

“Pleased to meet with Dr.Hossein Amirabdollahian, Foreign Minister of ran. We discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and negotiations to return to the Joint Action Plan with the US,” ,” The Qatari foreign minister said in a tweet on his Twitter account.

“I am looking forward to our cooperative efforts in this regard,” he added.
