Al-Assad blames Washington, EU for consequences of siege imposed on Yemeni people

SANAA, Sept. 06 (YPA) – Member of Ansarullah’s Political Bureau, Hizam al-Assad, blamed Washington and European countries for the consequences of participating in imposing the siege on the Yemeni people.

“Do Washington and European countries participating in the siege of the Yemeni people are willing to bear the consequences of their aggressive policies and inhumane practices against the Yemeni people?” he wondered on Twitter.

Al-Assad stressed that “Washington and European countries support and participate in piracy and seizing the fuel ships heading to the port of Hodeida, after being authorized by the United Nations, as stipulated in the armistice agreement.

According to Yemen’s oil company in Sanaa, the Saudi-led coalition war on Yemen has detained 21 ships of oil derivatives and prevented them from entering the port, after the arrival of 33 ships since the start of the UN truce that went into force on last April 2.

The suffocating blockade on the Yemeni people has caused economic consequences by increasing food commodities, deteriorating and disrupting all health service sectors, transportation and others, which have doubled the suffering of the citizens.
