8 ones killed due to torrential rains in Hajjah

HAJJAH, Aug. 03 (YPA) – The floods washed away on Wednesday six citizens from one family while they were in a waterway in Bani Haidan area of Hajjah province, which led to death of four of them, and loss of two, a local source told Yemen Press Agency.

 In addition, one of the citizens’ homes in the same area was hit by a thunderbolt, which led to death of a woman .

In Al-shahel district, two citizens died and ten others were injured while opening waterways for their farms and another civilian died as a result of a thunderbolt in Mabeen district.
