Citizen injured in explosion of mine left over by coalition in Hodeida

HODEIDA, Jun. 25 (YPA) – A citizen was seriously injured on Friday in Al-Hawk district in Hodeida province as a result of the explosion of a landmine left behind by the US-backed Saudi-Emirati coalition forces.

The Executive Center for Mine Action said in a statement that the citizen Abdullah Ahmed Ali Darwish Yamani suffered a tear in his legs as a result of a mine explosion from the remnants of the coalition forces, and he was transferred to a hospital in the city.

The center indicated that the number of casualties, as a result of the explosions of coalition remnants, including mines and cluster bombs, in Hodeida, has increased since the beginning of this year.
