SANAA, May 19 (YPA) – Chinese President, Xi Jinping, on Wednesday urged all countries of the world to engage in dialogue rather than confrontation and clashes.

He stressed the importance of real multilateralism and joint construction in order to mobilize international resources to meet challenges and promote common development.

In a speech he made to mark the 70th anniversary of the founding of the China Council for the Development of International Trade and the World Summit, Jinping was quoted as saying by Chinese media: “Trade and investment must be re-promoted and coordination of macroeconomic policies of world countries should be strengthened, so as to push the global economy out of crises.”

He stressed the need to complete global governance as countries are closely interconnected in the future and destiny.
