117 violations of UN-declared truce recorded in Yemen
SANAA, May 18 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition forces and their mercenaries have committed 117 violations of the humanitarian and military truce, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported on Wednesday, citing a military source.
According to the military source, 33 armed reconnaissance aircrafts flew over Marib, Taiz Jawf, Hajjah, Saada, Bayda and border fronts..
The source affirmed that new combat fortifications were created around Marib city.
He also said that 17 violations by an artillery and missile shelling were recorded at the army’s sites in Al-Balq Al-Sharqi of Marib and in Hairan and Haradh districts of Hajjah.
The source pointed out that an artillery bombing hit the army’s sites in Al-Amood, Wadi Jara, Al-Kanab and Al-Batool areas of Jizan region and in Maimanat Al-Biqaa area of Najran region.
In addition, the source declared that 66 breaches were recorded, with heavy shooting at citizens’ homes and sites of the army and popular committees in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Bayda, Dhalea and border fronts.
