Yemeni citizen injured in Saudi airstrike on paint factory in Taiz

TAIZ, Oct. 29 (YPA) – A Yemeni citizen was injured on Wednesday in an airstrike carried out by Saudi aircraft targeting a paint manufacturing facility in Taiz Governorate, according to a health official.

Dr. Anis Al-Asbahi, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Environment in Sanaa, confirmed that the airstrike struck the Al-Shaibani Paint Factory near the Shar’ab junction in the Al-Taiziyah district.

Local sources reported that the strike targeted the factory’s production units and fuel storage areas, causing extensive fires. Civil defense teams were deployed to the site to contain and extinguish the blaze at the paint and chemical plant.

In a related development, four additional Saudi airstrikes were carried out against the port and city of Mocha in Taiz Governorate on the same day.
