Russian Defense: #Americans planned to transmit diseases through migratory birds

SANAA, March 10 (YPA) – Russian Defense Ministry announced on Thursday that documents discovered showing that the U.S. side planned to transfer work on pathogens through birds, bats and reptiles to Ukraine in 2022.

A spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry, Igor Konashenkov, pointed out that the detailed information related to the implementation of the project by the United States to study the transfer of pathogens by wild migratory birds between Ukraine, Russia and other neighboring countries.

“The purpose of Pentagon-funded biological research in Ukraine was to establish a mechanism for the clandestine distribution of deadly pathogens,” he explained.

Previously, U.S. State Department had claimed that “it does not have laboratories in Ukraine, but Deputy Secretary of State, Victoria Nuland, said before that, speaking in the Senate, the existence of biological research facilities which Kyiv and Washington working on to prevent falling into the hands of Russian forces.
