US embassy deletes warning about missile attack on UAE

ABU DHABI, Feb. 09 (YPA) – The US Embassy in Abu Dhabi deleted a statement it published Wednesday on its official website, warning the American citizens in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) of possible missile or drone attacks on the UAE.

In its deleted statement, the US embassy clarified saying: “There are reports of a possible missile or drone attack on Abu Dhabi, in the UAE, today, February 9, 2022.”

“The embassy advises US citizens to immediately follow the safety procedures listed below and to remain alert in the event of additional future attacks,” the statement read, and the embassy published the “measures to be taken” in the event of an accident.
