Senior commander of Islah dies in Cairo

SANAA, Feb. 09 (YPA) – A senior commander loyal of the Saudi-led coalition died in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

According to activists on social media, the commander of the “39th Brigade”,Abdullah Al-Subaihi, loyal of the Saudi-backed Islah Party in the Abyan axis, died of cancer in a Cairo hospital.

The sources indicated that Al-Subaihi was the commander of the “New Dawn” battle, which he announced in May 2020, against the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council militias to liberate Aden, after suffering with illness.
