Meteorology Center warns residents in 15 provinces from weather variables

SANAA, Jan. 20 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology on Thursday warned citizens in 15 Yemeni provinces of the cold weather and climatic changes during the coming hours.

In its weather bulletin today, the center called on the elderly, children, and patients, working during the night and early morning, as well as travelers to those areas, to take the necessary precautions to prevent themselves from cold weather.

The center warned also motorists of low visibility due to the formation of fog or water mist in the mountainous heights.

A warm and cold atmosphere is expected during the night and early morning hours in the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, and the northern parts of the provinces of Dhalea, Ibb, and western Marib and Jawf provinces, according to the center’s bulletin.

The center also mentioned that the weather would be relatively cold to cold on the heights of Taiz, Lahj, Ibb, Abyan, Shabwa, and Hadramout provinces.
