NCM expects widespread dust wave sweeping eastern provinces

SANAA, Jan. 19 (YPA) – The National Meteorological Center (NCM) expected the widespread dust wave sweeping the eastern provinces, as well as the western and southern coasts within the next 24 hours.

The center said that the dust wave would extend to large areas of the provinces Mahra, Shabwa, Marib and Bayda, Dhamar, Sanaa, Amran and Saada.

It affirmed, in its alert bulletin that satellite images showed that a source of the dust wave would be in eastern and central Arabia, where it may currently affect the provinces of Hadramout and Jawf.

The center called on citizens, especially the elderly, children and patients, to take the necessary precautions against the dust wave and cold weather.
