STC militia loots 37 million riyals belonging to money exchange shop in Dhalea

DHALEA, Nov. 27 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia on Friday night looted an amount of 37 million riyals at a checkpoint in the north of Dhalea province, southern Yemen.

Local source told Yemen Press Agency that members of the STC militia stopped a car belonging to a money exchange sop and looted the money inside, while it was transferred from Qa’taba city towards Muris area northwest of Dhalea city.

The looted sums are money transfers to citizens in Qa’taba district to one of the branches of the exchange shop in areas under the control of the militia in Muris, the sources added.
