Corona’s toll in world exceeds 211.7 million injuries, 4.4 million deaths

SANAA, Aug. 23 (YPA) – The American Johns Hopkins University reported that the total number of coronavirus infections in the world has risen to more than 211.7 million, and the total deaths have reached more than 4.4 million.
According to the university’s data, the total number of coronavirus infections in the world reached 211,790,984, and the total deaths were 4,430,661.
The United States topped the list of countries in terms of the number of deaths due to the virus with 628,498 deaths, and the total number of infections reached 37,707,613.
Brazil followed in second place in terms of the number of deaths with 574,527 deaths, and a total of 20,570,891 injuries.
In third place comes India, with a total of 434,367 deaths, and a total of 32,424,234 injuries.
Mexico ranks fourth in terms of the number of deaths with 252,927, and a total of 3,217,415 injuries.
And in fifth place is Peru, with a total of 197752 deaths, and a total of 2,140,062 injuries.
Russia is sixth, with a total of 17,3003 deaths, and a total of 6,653,498 injuries.
Britain is ranked seventh, with a total of 131,958 deaths, and a total of 6,523,563 injuries.
Italy is ranked eighth, with a total of 128,751 deaths, and a total of 4,484,613 injuries.
In ninth place is Indonesia, with a total of 126,372 deaths, and a total of 3,979,456 injuries.
It was followed by Colombia in tenth place, with a total of 124,216 deaths, and a total of 4,889,537 injuries.
