Yemen Scholars Association condemns Saudi regime’s ban on Hajj

SANAA, Jul. 19 (YPA) – Yemen Scholars Association  and the Ministry of Guidance and Hajj and Umrah Affairs said that taking control over “ Al-Haramain al-Sharifain” and al-Quds Al-Sharif through the hands of  the agents is a western objective aimed to conceal their content and deactivate their noble mission of uniting Muslims.

In a joint statement issued on Monday, the association and the ministry affirmed that  the Saudi regime’s decision to ban Muslims from Hajj was a provocation to the feelings of millions of Muslims and an unprecedented obstruction of  [people] from al-Masjid al- Haram in history.

The statement noted that the prohibition of Hajj and its politicization by the Saudi regime in favor of enemies is a clear evidence to the role of this Wahhabi regime in serving the enemies of Muslims.

The statement condemned the silence of many Islamic countries and bodies about the ban of  Hajj by the Saudi regime under flimsy pretexts, and called for condemnation of the repeated crimes and massacres of the Saudi regime against pilgrims.

The joint statement stressed the unity of the Islamic nation in the face of  US-Zionist plans and the liberation of the holy places, primarily the“ Al-Haramain al-Sharifain” and al-Quds Al-Sharif.

It called on the scholars of the nation to criminalize the practices of the so-called Saudi Entertainment Authority, which encourages deviation, as well as Muslims to do their duty towards Islamic holy sites in the face of Jewish, Saudi and Emirati conspiracies.

The statement also called for issuing  fatwa by the nation’s scholars to condemn the foreign presence in the land of the Al-Haramain al-Sharifai, as a threat to the nation.
