NCM expects heavy rains in large parts of Yemen

SANAA, Jul. 19 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) on Monday has expected heavy rains on large parts of Yemen within the coming 24 hours.

The center stated in its weather bulletin on Sunday, the possibility of moderate to heavy rain, accompanied by thunderstorms from the provinces of Taiz, Lahj, Saada, Dhalea, Mahrah, Hadramout, Shabwah, Marib and Jawf.

It called on citizens to stay away from torrential streams during the rain, warning drivers of low visibility,  and “mudslides and rockslides” during rainfall.
