Heavy rains expected on Yemeni provinces within 24 hours

SANAA, May 06 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected heavy rains on most of Yemeni provinces in the coming 24 hours.

In the weather forecast, the center the expected rain would fall on separate parts of the provinces and of Dhalea, Shabwa, Hadramout, Aden, Abyan, Mahra, Taiz, and Hodeida, and parts of the Socotra archipelago and the western coasts.

The center warned citizens to use mobile phones during the rains accompanied with thunderstorms, and monitors to driver carefully on mountain slopes from rocky slides, as well as a significant decrease in the horizontal visibility.
