Unknown gunmen kidnap son of sheikh in Lahj

LAHJ, April 14 (YPA) – Unknown gunmen kidnapped on Tuesday a son of a sheikh and businessman in Lahj province, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources confirmed that the gunmen were riding a military vehicle kidnapped Yousif, the son of sheikh Abdual-Rahman al-Funaiaa near his home in Biaar Nasser in Sabir area of Tubn district.

The sources pointed out that the gunmen took the son of sheikh Abdual-Rahman to unknown destination, without mentioning reasons of kidnapping.

According to the sources, investigations and reports confirmed that the sheikh’s son was not detained by any military or security authority in the governorate.
