SANAA, Feb. 28 (YPA) – Major General Mohsen Khasrouf, former director of the moral guidance department of the “Hadi’s Government” forces, on Sunday accused the UAE of causing the defeat of the Saudi-led coalition forces in Marib province.
In a statement to the pro-coalition “Balqis” TV channel, this evening, Maj. Gen. Khasrouf indicated that the Emirati funds played a role in the loss of the coalition forces to the battle in Marib.
“The UAE dirhams played the battle in Marib and stabbed the coalition forces in the back,” Khasrouf said.
Khasrouf was referred for investigation by the outgoing exiled president, Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, on July 11, 2019, due to his criticism of the coalition’s role in Yemen.
