UAE occupation receives new blow on Yemen’s west coast

WESTERN COAST, Jan. 10 (YPA) – The United Arab Emirate (UAE) occupation forces and their militias have received a new military blow on Yemen’s west coast.

Informed local sources confirmed that members and officers of a military battalion loyal to the so-called “Afash” forces led by Yahya Arabek, defected from the so-called “joint forces” and returned home.

The entire battalion announced their return to the ranks of the of the Yemeni army and popular committee do defend   the homeland against Saudi-led aggression forces, the sources said.

The sources explained the return of the battalion members with all their military equipment.

In 2010, Sana’a welcomed thousands of returnees who defected  from the coalition side and joined the ranks of the national salvation government.
